Blessings to all.
I did my first hospital wedding yesterday. It was one of the most emotional ceremonies that I have done. The couple is in their mid 20's and he was recently diagnosed with cancer. They have been planning their wedding for quite a few months now and it has been a great journey until recently. I got to the hospital and before we even started the wedding I said a prayer of healing while everyone laid hands on him. I anointed him with oil and then we started the wedding. I watched as the couple pledged their vows and placed rings on each others fingers. He tried his best to keep going. I had them sit on a bench in the chapel so that he could rest better and he wasn't in the wheelchair the whole time. She sat next to him throughout. Once I pronounced them he laid on her shoulder and wept. The day he was looking forward to happened. What a lovely couple and what a humbling blessing it was to me to be a part of their day. I wish them both many years of happiness and for a recovery.
Blessings to all.
Many of you may have thought that I was no longer doing a blog. I still am but life got busy and many things were going on in my personal life. Lots of trips to the hospital with my cousin and many trips out of state to help out. Things are better now and back on the right track. In fact things are heating up a little. I am almost finished with my Wedding Planner class and soon will be using that certificate and not only officiating the wedding but planning them as well. I am adding a few more places to advertise and will be coming up with some good blogs posts soon.
Blog with you later and looking forward to getting the ball rolling faster for 2016!
Love, Peace, Joy, Happiness
Just a little note about me. I am posting thoughts and helpful hints. I am hoping this makes your special day even better.
